What’s Your Holiday Allowance (THR) for? – Jakpat Special Report

Lebaran, also known as Eid al-Fitr or Idul Fitri has become a long-awaited moment for many Indonesian people. One of the interesting traditions about Lebaran is about Tunjangan Hari Raya (THR).  THR is the yearly labor allowance given by the company to its employees in the month of Eid. Not only companies that give THR to employees, but there is also a tradition of Indonesian people where adults who have worked and have income give THR money to siblings or younger children. There are many plans for what THR money will be used.

Regarding this topic, Jakpat has conducted a survey that aims to discuss the allocation and choices of respondents in using THR money. The survey was conducted to 933 respondents in nationwide from all demographic segments by using Jakpat mobile application.
