Kartu Kuning Untuk Jokowi – Laporan Survey

Beberapa waktu lalu sempat ramai dibicarakan tentang aksi pemberian kartu kuning yang dilakukan oleh Ketua BEM UI (Universitas Indonesia), Zaadit Taqwa, kepada Presiden Joko Widodo. Aksi ini dilakukan ketika Presiden Joko Widodo sedang memberikan pidato dalam acara Dies Natalis Universitas Indonesia. Dalam aksinya, Ketua BEM UI, Zaadit Taqwa menuntut kejelasan atau melakukan protes kepada Presiden Joko Widodo tentang beberapa isu, yaitu masalah wabah campak dan gizi buruk di Kabupaten Asmat, Papua, kebebasan organisasi mahasiswa, serta dwifungsi ABRI/Polri. Aksi ini lantas menimbulkan beragam komentar, ada netizen yang menganggap aksi tersebut adalah hal yang wajar, tetapi ada juga yang beranggapan aksi tersebut merupakan bentuk tidak hormat terhadap kepala negara.

Oleh karena itu, JAKPAT melakukan survey kepada 2.773 responden tentang pengetahuan serta tanggapan mereka terhadap aksi kartu kuning untuk Jokowi tersebut. Berikut ringkasan survey:

Meals Ready to Eat (MRE) – Survey Report

In the recent years, our food and beverage industry has been increasing exponentially. Numbers of new products are launched and available in the marketplace. One of the new launch product is the meals ready to eat (MRE). MRE itself is referred to the type of food that consists of some cooked dishes. All customer have to do is just to re-heat it, so that it can be consumed. Regarding this issue, we ask our 2.326 respondents in nationwide about their awareness, experience, and interest in consuming MRE product. According to our result, most respondents in this survey are quite aware of the existence of MRE in the marketplace. This finding is in line with their experience on trying MRE product. Meanwhile, for respondents who never try MRE, we ask them whether they would like to try it and their motivation for doing so.

Cable TV Subscription – Survey Report

Nowadays cable TV has been massively used throughout all levels of socio-economic status in Indonesia. This survey was conducted to find out the trend and also behind the consideration of using cable TV in the respondent’s home. Interestingly enough there is a lot of respondents who use cable TV, and one of the strongest reasons behind the decision is for the international channels.

Survey Segmentation: Soy Sauce – Survey Report

Not everyone is born to cook, sometimes we need spices, condiment, or sauce to make our food taste good. Originated from China and made from fermented soybeans, soy sauce is one of the condiments that serve to enrich our taste of cuisine. In Indonesia itself there are many types of soy sauce used by households and each type of soy sauce has its own function. In this survey, we try to find out what motivates people to consume soy sauce and from that, we know three primary reasons our respondents consume soy sauce: to make more tasty and delicious, as a sweetener, and as flavor variations. We then use these three reasons as the basic aspect to make the segmentation regarding soy sauce consuming behavior by outlining several aspects.

This survey is sent to our 1.833 panels in nationwide. Overall, we can see that respondents with a different motive of consumption have different consumer behavior as well. We can see that their behavior like the preference of soy sauce brand, a place to buy, money spent, soy sauce type and so on differ on each motive of consumption. Wardah Beauty Campaign: Online and Offline Overview – Survey Report

Wardah currently is one of the leading local brands for Indonesian cosmetics. Be it the conventional mass media or the new digital media, we can find Wardah’s beauty campaign everywhere. Not only the offline campaign, they are quite innovative in their online campaign strategy by becoming the first local cosmetics brand to involve social media influencer as their official spokesperson. Regarding this matter, recently Jakpat has conducted a survey in order to see people’s awareness as well as to compare between their offline and online campaign methods. This survey was conducted to 2001 respondents from across Indonesia who are female. Cashless Payment: Extended Usage of Go-Pay and OVO – Survey Report

The effort of encouraging cashless payment has been announced for recent years. In order to encourage this discourse, numbers of a digital wallet, or also known as electronic money is made by the bank and another non-banking provider. According to our data, some popularly owned electronic money product among our respondents are Go-Pay, e-Money, and T-Cash. These products is also followed by OVO, a smart financial app made by LippoX. Recently, both Go-Pay and OVO are gaining public interest since they offer much interesting promotions. Go-Pay try to attract their user by creating Go-Point as their rewarding system, and offer discount for any Go-Jek service paid by Go-Pay balance. Meanwhile, OVO enable their user to pay their transaction in Lippo merchants such as Matahari department store and Hypermart using OVO balance. Besides that, OVO recently also launch cashback program for dining in OVO merchants using its balance. As the enthusiasm of using Go-Pay and OVO is quite high, we would like to examine the extended usage of both apps. We send a survey toward 2.384 respondents in nationwide to understand this issue. Basically, we ask them a single question about their interest of using Go-Pay and OVO if these apps can be used to afford their offline transaction in any shop or restaurants. Surprisingly, most respondents in this survey are interested of the idea. They don’t mind using their Go-Pay and OVO balance to pay offline transaction. In general, they even expect to be able using the balance to pay for food dining, fashion&accessories, and electronic&gadget. Up to this point, we may relieve that the idea of encouraging digital payment in the near future is very much welcome.

Segmentation Survey Report: Yogurt

Consuming yogurt regularly can be good for health. Not only for the sake of health, consuming it can also be refreshing –and there are some other reasons why people would drink yogurt. In this survey we have gathered top six motivations why the respondents enjoy consuming yogurt, which include (a) yogurt is good for health, (b) yogurt is good tasting, (c) consuming yogurt is a good diet, (d) consuming yogurt has a refreshing effect, (e) yogurt is for snacking, and (f) yogurt is consumed for no specific reason but just wanting to.

Those top six motivations then were individually crossed with these following variables: age group of respondents, brands of yogurt, reasons for purchase, yogurt product packaging, frequency of yogurt consumption, yogurt flavors, number of yogurt purchased, money spent on yogurt, place to purchase yogurt, and alternatives to yogurt. Therefore there are many interesting findings in the crossed-tab data to find. You can also find crossed data between motivations of yogurt consumption and respondents gender. Other more general data that you can also find include:

  • Top brand of yogurt
  • Reasons for choosing the yogurt brand
  • Preferable yogurt product packaging
  • Top favorite flavors of yogurt
  • Top places to purchase yogurt
