Plan After College: Survey Report 2017

Life after college can be both exciting and challenging. For those who have a clear plan after their college it can be exciting. Not everyone has the same plan after college, though, and through this survey report we are going to look at all the various responses and plans from our respondents. We managed to ask 1348 respondents who were almost 100% of the age of 20-25 years old. That is just the right age range that should have been involved in this study.

Here are just a few highlights that you will find in the survey result:

  • 55.12% of respondents plan to work as professionals in a company after finishing their education.
  • 16.84% plan to become an entrepreneur while at the same time continuing their education on a higher level.
  • 16.17% plan on becoming an entrepreneur.
  • 11.87% plan to continue their education on a higher level.

Wedding Trend Over Years: Different or Just Stay the Same?

Trend is like a circle. What is considered as a trend in certain times, may not be trendy anymore in different time. However, there will be a point of return when things that once was trendy will be considered as trendy thing again. However, it seems like it is not absolutely reflected when it comes to the wedding event. As a sacred personal rites of passage, wedding is marking someone’s life stage from single to be married. This marking process is then contain many symbols, rites, and any cultural elements that cannot be easily eliminated by whatever trend. This argument is proven by our recent survey about wedding trend that you can access below. According to our result, most respondents over times tend to have traditional style for their wedding. However, although the wedding process it self may be dominated by strict custom, but their wedding preparations might be showing certain trends. According to our result, some stuff such as doing pre-wedding session, asking friends to be bridesmaid/best man, using digital invitation, and visiting wedding expo seems to be the trendy things over times. However, certain activities such as conducting bridal shower/bachelor party, live streaming the wedding in social media, and seeking reference from any wedding related account in social media just become the trendy things for about the last five years. We also find that respondents who have been married for more than five years seems to be more eager in changing their last name into their spouse’s, as well as changing their marriage status in their social media account. Since the past few years we have been introduced to the innovation of transportation mode that is online based. Apart from the negative responses from the society, a lot of people are enjoying the comfort from the online transportation mode. In this survey reports we will find out what people think about the innovative transportation mode and how dependent they are on it, and many more other interesting facts. We asked as many as 2914 respondents who live in selected cities in which online transportation mode exists.

Here are some highlights that you can find in the survey report:

  • The motorcycle type of online transportation mode is a favorite to most respondents.
  • Female and male respondents take an online transportation mode for a different reason.
  • Most respondents think online public transportation is helpful for everyday mobility.
  • Respondents have a prediction for the next 10-20 years about the existence of online transportation mode.

Tepat pada tanggal 17 Agustus 2017, Indonesia memperingati hari ulang tahun kemerdekaannya yang ke-72. Momen kemerdekaan memang identik dengan lomba-lomba “tujuhbelasan” atau perayaan-perayaan “agustusan” atau upacara bendera. Namun, pada momen peringatan kemerdekaan ini, pernahkah Anda memikirkan: Apa sih makna momen kemerdekaan RI untuk Anda? Bagaimana Anda memaknai rasa cinta tanah air kepada Indonesia? Kami tim JAKPAT sendiri, untuk kali ini, memaknai rasa cinta tanah air dalam wujud “kembali ke rumah, pada akhirnya”. Mudik Transportation Review: Land Transportation (Excluding Train) – Survey Report

After Lebaran mudik this year we asked as many as 2967 respondents throughout the country about their review on how they underwent their mudik experience using land transportation (not including the train). Hopefully through the results of this survey the quality of service from private transportation companies can be optimized to meet the customers’ expectations. Here are some highlights of the survey results:

  • Most chosen land transportation (excluding the train) was private car.
  • Most car driving respondents experienced being stuck in a traffic jam on their mudik way.
  • Most respondents experienced an increased fee for renting a car compared to non-mudik time.
  • Most respondents experienced an increased price for a bus ticket compared to non-mudik time.
  • Most respondents experienced an increased price for a “travel” car ticket compared to non-mudik time.
  • Most respondents generally had a rather unpleasant experience where only a few toll gates were open to drive through during mudik.
  • Most respondents generally had a rather pleasant experience where the roads were mostly free of traffic jam during mudik this year.

Music Streaming Apps Battle: JOOX VS SPOTIFY – Survey Report

Music streaming applications have grown a lot in Indonesia in these past three years. It serves the users with the convenience of listening music in a good quality, complete catalogue, and user-friendly device. In Indonesia, there are two famous on-demand music streaming apps in which often being compared to each other. Regarding to this matter, recently JAKPAT has conducted a survey series in order to see the head-to-head comparison between JOOX and SPOTIFY according to the music streaming apps users. This survey was conducted to 2146 respondents of JAKPAT who are the users of JOOX only, SPOTIFY only, and also the users of both JOOX and SPOTIFY.
