What media do they consume? what topics they take an interest on? which media contents they like to read/watch? The Trend-Track study is initiated to capture what’s currently happening across media platforms on a biweekly basis. This report could become a reference for marketers in choosing which media to use to communicate with consumers, as well as providing a context in understanding consumers’ topics of interest in media.

MATA NAJWA in eps Sukamiskin ‘Luxury’ Cells, Kiki Challenge, and Lombok earthquake appear as trending topics in the fourth week of July 2018 on several media platforms.

Makeup Trend 2018: Which Do You Prefer?

Makeup has been an essential daily kit for most women. Today, as the trend of wearing makeup is significantly rising compared to decades ago, numbers of beauty brands are launching many inventions of their products. Hence, not only legendary beauty brands are creating product innovation, numbers of new makeup brands are also emerging. Understanding this condition, we create a survey towards 1.875 female respondents in nationwide, aimed to capture respondents preference toward makeup product, brand, and style. Moreover, we also provide a map of makeup brands’ ranking for each category based on the actual makeup brand our respondents are currently wearing. By understanding this ranking, we can see a clear picture of the competition between local and global makeup brands as it is shown in our respondent’s actual usage.

We have started our first trend track survey in the second week of March 2018, and we are currently publishing our second Trend Track survey report for the SECOND WEEK OF JULY 2018. Hopefully, we can continue to feed you with media trend on more real-time and regular basis. WORLD CUP 2018 was all over media in the second week of July 2018. In addition, the news about Zohri’s victory at the world junior sprint championship also received considerable attention, as well as topics about TikTok, both about the viral Bowo Alpenliebe and Tik Tok blocking by the Indonesian Government.

Position: Head of Research

Target:

  1. Research Guideline  – for Internal and External Research Analyst.
  2. Module and Research Product Development
  3. Quality Control  All Client and Premium Reports ( Design, Questionnaire, Analysis Guide, and Report Check)

Collaboration and Team Structure

Requirement:

  1. A minimum 4 to 7 years within the custom market research industry
  2. Having 1 to 3 years of industry/sector experience is preferred.
  3. Having education related to market or social research is preferred.
  4. Having experiences in market research as a researcher is preferred.

Job Descriptions:

  1. Work as part of the team to meet the objectives and targets of the business plan, using established internal processes.
  2. Working with Client teams to ensure delivery on time and on the budget, to a standard that delights our clients
  3. Analyse, interpret, report and deliver Jakpat survey output, this includes producing reports and other final outputs of projects
  4. Using research guideline from design to reporting to be used by all researchers in JAKPAT.
  5. Lead delivery of the research team strategies, including developing, agreeing and prioritizing projects within this area and tasks delegations
  6. Take an active part in / lead workshops and other collaborative sessions to analyze and model findings and develop conclusions

In Ramadan and Idul Fitri ago Jakpat do some surveys related to the habit of respondents in Ramadan and Idul Fitri 2018. The survey conducted on 2000+ respondents throughout Indonesia.

In general, the survey report consists of 2 different surveys. The first survey talks about behavior and habits during Ramadan. We surveyed respondents on a weekly basis during the last Ramadan. The second survey is divided into 2 subtopics, which are online shopping trends of Ramadan and matters related to Eid Al Fitr such as religious holiday allowance (THR) and homecoming (mudik). Consumer behavior during Ramadan is interesting to be discussed, specifically their shopping behavior, given that Indonesians have a certain habit to welcome Idul Fitri.
