The flexibility and freedom might be one of the things why many people have become freelancers. Not having to deal with the boss,not tied working hours and employment contracts are the things that make freelancer become quite tempting job. Moreover, the enchancement of information technology increasingly facilitates the work of freelancers, work can be completed anywhere. Therefore, Jakpat this time collaborating with Sribulancer conducted survey that involve 828 freelancer respondents. We would like to know the facts about freelancers working hours and the joy of being a freelancer. This survey was distributed to 2005 Respondents JAKPAT throughout Indonesia, from 2005 respondents were 41.3% (828 respondents) reported having jobs freelancer. Freelancer have a diverse kind of work. We started this survey by asking respondents, what kind of work they are doing freelancers. Here it is our findings: Freelancer is a job that is not tied to office hours. Attendance at workplace is not a must. This becomes quite interesting for us to ask respondents about their working hours as a freelancer. The findings we got, 42.39% of respondents said they have less than 10 hours in a week. This is not surprising because 66.43% of respondents are part-time freelancers. Then we were wondering how many respondents who are pure a freelancer, do not have another job, how many respondents who had been work as employees, and how many respondents who currently have a job in the office but also a freelancer. It turns out most are those respondents who had been an employee. Our question then continues, what is the reason they are no longer being an employee and turned freelancer. We also got the answer that 52.13% of respondents said they wanted to have more personal time. As for the respondents who answered had never been an employee, we also asked their reasons. And 51.92% of the respondents said they haven’t had the opportunity to be employees, hence they become a freelancer. We also asked why respondents part-time freelancers, why they become a freelancer when working as an employee. Most respondents stated being a freelancer to spend leisure time, and not a few respondents said that the salary as an employee is not enough. JAKPAT berkesempatan kerjasama dengan Sribulancer untuk membuat survey tentang apa sih yang mempengaruhi kebahagiaan Freelancer! Survey ini disebarkan kepada 2005 Responden JAKPAT di seluruh Indonesia, Dari 2005 responden tersebut 41.3% (828 responden) menyatakan memiliki pekerjaan freelancer. Freelancer mempunyai jenis pekerjaan yang beragam. Kami mengawali survey ini dengan bertanya pada responden, apa jenis pekerjaan freelancer yang mereka lakukan. Dan berikut temuan kami. Freelancer merupakan pekerjaan yang tidak terikat dengan jam kerja. Kehadiran di tempat kerja bukanlah menjadi suatu keharusan. Hal ini menjadi cukup menarik bagi kami untuk bertanya pada responden mengenai jam kerja mereka sebagai freelancer. Temuan yang kami dapatkan, 42.39% responden menyatakan mereka memiliki jam kerja kurang dari 10 jam dalam seminggu. Hal ini tidak mengherankan karena 66.43% responden adalah part-time freelancer sehingga waktu mereka menjadi freelancer tidak cukup banyak dalam seminggu Lalu kami penasaran berapa responden yang memang murni seorang freelancer, tidak memiliki pekerjaan lainnya, berapa responden yang pernah menjadi pegawai, dan berapa responden yang saat ini memiliki pekerjaan di kantor tetapi juga seorang freelancer. Ternyata responden paling banyak adalah mereka yang pernah menjadi pegawai. Kemudian pertanyaan kami pun berlanjut, apa alasan mereka tidak lagi menjadi pegawai dan beralih menjadi freelancer. Kami pun mendapat jawaban bahwa 52.13% dari responden itu mengatakan ingin mempunyai lebih banyak waktu personal. Sedangkan bagi responden yang menjawab belum pernah menjadi pegawai, kami pun bertanya alasan mereka. Dan 51.92% responden tersebut mengatakan belum mendapat kesempatan menjadi pegawai, oleh karena itu mereka menjadi freelancer. Kami pun juga menanyakan alasan responden part-time freelancer, mengapa mereka menjadi freelancer padahal bekerja sebagai pegawai. Paling banyak jawaban responden menyatakan menjadi freelancer untuk mengisi waktu luang, lalu tidak sedikit juga responden yang mengatakan bahwa gaji sebagai pegawai belum cukup. Apakah dengan freelancing para responden merasa memiliki waktu untuk dirinya sendiri? 84.9% responden mengatakan iya. Kami mengakhiri survey ini dengan bertanya pada responden dengan segala positif dan negatif menjadi freelancer, apakah mereka merasa bahagia. Dan hampir semua responden menyatakan bahagia! Since kindergarten to high school, in this date we routinely follow the flag ceremony. In any history class we learn how Indonesia won its independence at the time. As the anniversary of independence, many activities held as a celebration of independence day such as games , flag ceremony, tirakatan, and so on. Therefore, Jakpat also want to know what the celebration was attended by the people of Indonesia. The survey involved 2011 respondents. We started this survey by asking about the activities of the celebration of August 17 in the neighborhood of respondents. 82.89% of respondents said that in their neighborhood there is a celebration of independence day, while the 10:44% said do not know if there is a celebration or not. And only 6.66% of respondents answered no celebration. Then, we asked to respondents who know there’s the celebration in their neighborhood, what activities are carried out, in this question respondents were allowed to chose more than 1 answer. The games chosen by the majority of respondents (79.16%). While the flag ceremony was in second place (28.59%), and tirakatan is in third position (21.18%). We were curious whether the people of Indonesia are still actively participating in the celebration of Independence Day this time. We asked the respondents whether they participated, and more than half of the respondents did not participate. This seems quite describe that society has not enthusiastic about the celebration of 17 August. When we asked the reason for the respondents who did not participate, 46.64% of respondents said no time, while 36.94% said lazy to participate. LifestylePersonal Hangout Places for Millennials – Survey Report by jakmin August 12, 2015 written by jakmin People will go for hangout with their friends, relatives or colleagues, and the places they choose may differ between one and another. Here we were curious in knowing hangout places for millennials in Jakarta Province. Thus, JAKPAT conducted a survey towards millennials (20-30 y/o) in Jakarta Province. This survey was followed by 500 respondents. Here we asked several questions regarding places, people they ask to go with and how long they will spend their time for going out. 1. How many of them like going out for hangout? From 500 respondents, 437 respondents like going out Buy inflatable water slide Canada for hangout (87.4%). Most respondents following this survey are those who are around 20-25 y/o (390 respondents), and the rest are those who are around 26-30 y/o. Nevertheless, respondents who are 30 y/o are the most respondents going out for hangout (see xls file of this survey). Moreover, the proportion of women in this survey exceeds men, in which the total of women is 293, thus more women like going out for hangout than men. 2. Whom they ask for going out with We provided some options when asking this question: friends, family, boyfriend/ girlfriend, close friends, alone and other. Generally, most respondents go with their friends, but when we look at the gender part, there are some differences between female and male respondents. This question was a multiple answer type, thus respondents could choose more than one option. Therefore, we can see some pattern between female and male respondents. Most female respondents go out with their close friends (60.54%), while most male respondents go out with their friends (64.77%). Moreover, fewer female respondents will go out by themselves than male respondents (29.89% vs. 30.68%). You can see the detail in the xls report. 3. Places they pick for hangout We wondered where they will go out when they with particular persons, thus we asked them by using a grid type question. And you can see the infographic of this question below. With Friends Most respondents will go to mall when going out with their friends (41.42%) and other respondents prefer going to café (19.91%) and restaurant (15.33%). You can see the detail concerning this result on slide at the end of this post. With Family When respondents go out with their families, most of them prefer going to restaurant (33.41%). Nevertheless, the rest of respondents prefer going to mall (24.03%), tourism places (20.14%) and other places. With Boyfriend/ Girlfriend We found no dominant answer regarding boyfriend/ girlfriend. Nevertheless, most respondent prefer going to mall when going out with their boyfriend/ girlfriend (29.75%). The rest of respondents choose restaurant (20.82%), café (12.81%) and other places. With Close Friends Most of our respondents prefer going to mall when going out with their close friends (32.72%). And the rest of them will go to café (20.82%), restaurant (18.08%) and other places. By Themselves When respondents go out by themselves, most of them prefer going to mall (35.47%), someone house’s (14.87%), café (8.24%) and other places. We also found that 13.5% of respondents don’t go out by themselves. 4. How long they go out Majority of respondents go out for 4-6 hours (53.78%), either female respondents or male respondents. Both local Indonesian food is very popular almost all Indonesian people. When we observe about these past year there has been a trend martabak sweet and kue cubit. When we asked respondents whether they would repurchase these “retouch” local foods or not, 82.82% of respondents said they would buy it back. From these 2008 respondents involved in the survey, we found 76.44% of the respondents know this application, while the remaining 23.56% of respondents claimed do not know. Then we tried to ask the 1535 respondents who know Dubsmash application if they ever made a video Dubsmash their own version. 64.1% of respondents have never made a video Dubsmash. We asked respondents when are the perfect time to wear cosmetics. We asked respondents to choose the options that fit their answers, and then found that going to a wedding be a most appropriate time for respondents to use cosmetics. Then, when we asked where are they usually buy the cosmetics, majority of respondents answered supermarket/hypermarket. After that, department store became second answer, following by online shop and convenient store. Not few of respondents who answered dermatologist clinic as a place they buy cosmetics. This is probably because of relation between cosmetics and skin health. Some people have enough sensitive skin, so that the security of skin health becomes very necessary. Talking about cosmetics, the brand becomes very concerned for someone, as evidenced by the 87.53% of the respondents know the brand before purchasing it. It is very reasonable, brand reputation will determine the quality and purchasing decisions. When we asked respondents what brands they use, we found two brands of cosmetics are pretty much chosen by the respondent. 33.88% of respondents admitted to using Wardah Cosmetic, while 32.52% of respondents said using Maybeline. Information about brand is obtained from television advertising, it was stated by 87.53% of respondents. Moreover, some of them got the information from the recommendation of family and friends. While, 14,53% of respondents admitted read the internet reviews to get the information. Apparently, internet is quite important in the search for information about brand cosmetics in this time. 55.56% of respondents admitted to doing research on the internet.
